How much does it cost?
Nothing. Our fee is paid by our clients (companies looking to hire) when we place a successful candidate. That means that as a candidate, you don’t pay anything to the recruiter. In fact, if a recruiter charges you a fee as a candidate, run in the opposite direction!
Why should I use Argentus to find a job?
The representation of a specialty recruiter is a powerful thing. When you apply using job boards, you’re sending your resume into a black hole. When you work with a company specialized in Supply Chain like Argentus, you’re joining a network.
Unlike generalist firms, Supply Chain is all that we do. We have deep connections with leaders across the Supply Chain field, with an always-evolving portfolio of clients who trust our Supply Chain expertise. In short, we know the space better than anyone, and we have the ear of hiring managers.
I'm looking for a job outside Supply Chain. Can you help me?
Argentus is completely specialized within Supply Chain and its subdisciplines of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Logistics, Operations, and Planning at the corporate level.
That means that we don’t work on other roles – including sales, IT, finance, or marketing, except when supporting key clients on special circumstances. We do not work on general labour roles, or administrative/clerical roles.

I'm new to Canada. Can Argentus help me find a job?
We have successfully placed numerous newcomers to Canada within Supply Chain roles. If you have relevant overseas experience in Supply Chain Management, we’d love to hear from you!
I'm located outside of North America. Can Argentus help me find a job?
Canadian immigration law requires employers to prove that they are unable to find a local candidate before representing candidates located outside of Canada. As we’re a boutique firm, we don’t have the resources to do this, so are unable to represent candidates located internationally without immigration standing in Canada.
However! If you have relevant Supply Chain experience, we would be pleased to speak with you once you arrive in Canada.
What else should I know before I submit my resume?
First, know that your resume will be kept in confidence. We do not share resumes with clients without a candidate’s prior consent. Should we have a suitable opportunity, we will reach out to you to discuss the role and whether it would be a good fit.
Second, please be aware that our focus is on recruiting for our active jobs. This means that, if we don’t have anything that matches your background at the moment, we won’t always be able to represent you right away. That being said, we pride ourselves on our long-lasting connections with Supply Chain professionals. We want to build a relationship with you now so that when a suitable role does come in, we can hit the ground running. So please reach out, even if we don’t have anything that fits at the moment.
Third, please note that we are a focused team who work closely together. We prefer that you send resumes to either our central recruiting email (email@example.com) or to a single recruiter, to help streamline our process.
