Welcome to 2020. This year, we’re starting a new feature at Argentus: a brief infographic that shares some of our biggest recruiting accomplishments from the previous year.

If you’re a devotee of the Argentus blog, you already know this, but in case you don’t: Argentus is a boutique recruitment firm working out of Toronto, Canada, specialized within Supply Chain Management. That includes its sub-functions of Procurement (direct and indirect), Logistics (distribution, transportation, warehousing), planning (demand and supply planning), business transformation, and others. We work exclusively in these functions within a wide variety of industries – everything from Food Manufacturing (a hot industry last year) to services, to 3PL logistics.

We wanted to create this infographic to give our readers:

• A sense of the most active industries from a hiring perspective
• Some background about the most common Supply Chain functions and titles that our clients are hiring for.
• Key highlights of some of our biggest accomplishments in the past year.

If you’re a hiring or HR manager, we hope it will give you a sense of the Supply Chain talent that’s in highest demand. If you’re a candidate thinking about your career development, it’ll help orient you to industries or functions that might be worth pursuing.

Of course our experience is somewhat anecdotal, but as one of the Supply Chain industry’s longest-running and leading recruitment firms, we work with companies in every corner of the industry. We know what salaries are at, how the skills profiles are changing, and where the growth is. So while it’s not a statistically holistic view, we hope it’s a useful one.
