Today, they’ve tapped Argentus to help them source a Supply Chain Analyst for their global Electronics Compliance!
Working out of the company’s office in the Greater Toronto Area, this Supply Chain Analyst is a sole contributor role, charged with taking ownership of the company’s regulatory compliance efforts as part of its supply chain and logistics operation. This individual will act as a subject matter expert on the global regulatory environment for electronics, researching and evaluating emerging legislation in safety, environmental, consumer protection and other regulatory areas, and then taking efforts to address emerging regulatory concerns as they arise in the global supply chain. You will use an understanding of import and export requirements across the globe, you will identify areas of risk and implement strategies to pro-actively address these requirements. You will review all packaging and product marking, creating and maintaining documentation to ensure that it meets global regulatory requirements, while acting as a regulatory subject matter resource for a variety of cross-functional teams. You will work closely with vendors to educate them about regulatory concerns, ensuring that they uphold regulatory standards, and ensure that standards in global procurement are being tracked, monitored, and reported as part of the global supply chain process. In addition, the successful candidate will use their strong knowledge of the electronics regulatory environment to identify opportunities for sustainability in the supply chain, and provide recommendations to the supply chain team based on metrics and reviews.
This is a great sole contributor role at an excellent company, perfect for an individual with a strong understanding of the global regulatory environment for consumer electronics. The successful candidate needs to have a supply chain background, and a good understanding of these global regulations, for example ISO, GPSD, REACH, RoHS, IATA, and extended producer responsibility, among others.
