Today, they have tasked Argentus with recruiting a Supplier Relationship Management specialist for a contract opportunity!
This individual will work on a Hybrid basis at the company’s office in Mississauga, ON, on a 7 month contract term, in a supplier relationship management, sourcing analytics, and financial analysis role to support the company’s strategic sourcing group. In this role, the successful candidate will develop financial analysis for pricing and performance of the company’s suppliers, and use that data to extract insights and tell a story about performance, risk, and opportunities among the company’s suppliers. You will gather and analyze data about company spend, supplier financials, and supplier market intelligence, while researching prospective new suppliers. You will develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the goal of benchmarking supplier performance, working with business units and other team members in the procurement function to evaluate and improve the suppliers’ performance and mitigate risk. You will act as an internal subject matter expert for supplier relationship management, assessing risk in the company’s supplier base and providing guidance to stakeholders around contract management. In addition, you will assess suppliers from the perspective of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Procurement, developing data and providing recommendations throughout the contract lifecycle to support the company’s ESG goals.
This is a great contract opportunity for an individual with strong Supplier Relationship Management skills, as well as a strong track record of using data analytics to provide insights about the procurement process, including developing KPIs and SLAs. Experience working within enterprise-wide procurement contracts is also a must for this role.
