Today, they have reached out to Argentus to search for a Senior IT Procurement Manager!
This Senior IT Procurement Manager will take on leadership for strategy development and execution for the Information Technology category, a critical category for the organization’s continued growth and modernization. Working from the company’s Mississauga office (on a Hybrid basis), the successful candidate will lead the IT procurement team to develop category strategy, and then execute that strategy through strong sourcing, vendor management, contract management, and 3rd party risk management. You will act as a subject matter expert for IT Procurement within the organization, working closely with key stakeholders and users to deeply understand their needs, and then deliver on IT sourcing requirements by leading the team to deliver complex, high-value, strategic sourcing projects to implement new technology for the organization. In addition, you provide Vendor Management and Contract Management for the company’s large and established IT vendor base in key categories including software, hardware, SaaS, cloud, data centres, etc., working within KPIs and vendor scorecards to evaluate supplier performance and identify risks and opportunities for value from the company’s existing supplier relationships. You will work to develop continuous improvement projects for the company’s procurement and vendor management functions, and coach and mentor the team to success.
This is an excellent strategic IT Procurement leadership role within a fantastic, centre-led category management function. Our client is looking for candidates with an exceptional background in IT Procurement, including software, hardware, SaaS, cloud, data centres, etc. The successful candidate needs to be highly strategic, with excellent business acumen and soft skills to deliver for stakeholders, and build relationships with the company’s supplier base.
