Today Argentus is working with a brand new client on an impactful Logistics sales role. To introduce our client, this company is a fast growing, innovative provider in the logistics space—with a variety of service offerings including LTL, TL, and cross-border shipments. As part of their continued growth, they have tapped Argentus to fill a critical sales role—a Senior Business Development Manager!
This individual will work out of the company’s offices in Mississauga, ON on a hybrid basis (including site visits to prospective customers), with the goal of expanding the company’s business through acquisition and onboarding of new clients in a variety of industries. In this role, the successful candidate will apply an entrepreneurial mindset to identify and convert prospective customers, and provide exceptional service to those customers through responsive communication and collaboration with the company’s internal operations team. You will use cold calling, networking, and other forms of prospect identification to build a strong funnel of new inbound business, building relationships and identifying solutions to convert those prospects into successful clients. In addition, you will work to plan and support the ongoing growth of the business, broadening your reach and market penetration through strategic planning. This role is an excellent fit for a sales professional with strong experience in the logistics industry. The successful candidate needs to deeply understand the logistics space, including a strong understanding of logistics service offerings including non-asset, 3PL domestic, LTL, TL, and cross-border shipments as well as U.S. markets. An entrepreneurial, growth-focused mindset is a must, as is a commitment to excellent customer service.
