Argentus is working with a brand new client on a set of Planning roles. This global company is a leader in the chemicals industry, with a suite of diverse products for application across a host of industries. As part of their efforts to continuously improve their forecasting and data accuracy, they’ve tasked Argentus with sourcing a Sales & Operations Planning Manager!
Working out of the company’s Brampton, ON office, this Sales & Operations Planning Manager will report to the Director of Supply Chain and lead the overall S&OP initiatives and process, including leading a team of S&OP Analysts, coaching and developing them to success. In this role, the successful candidate will take ownership of the S&OP forecast, including demand forecasting, supply planning and inventory planning for the company’s products. This S&OP Manager will use exceptional data analytics skills to provide inventory analysis, and lead strategic planning discussions with the goal of providing strategic insights to the business around demand, inventory and supply. You will lead the team in providing forecasts for sales activity, replenishment data, capacity planning, and additions or deletions to new product distribution, with the goal of increasing overall accuracy in the forecasts. You will interface with other highly-engaged stakeholders in the business, working to ensure that the plan is in line with the overall company growth patterns, revenue, product launches, and other strategic factors, while working to continuously improve the process.
In short, this is an impactful leadership role for a candidate well-versed with all aspects of Sales & Operations Planning. Our client is looking for individuals with excellent analytics skills, and the ability to present insights from data to senior leadership in the business. Experience with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning is a must, particularly within Food, Consumer Packaged Goods, Chemicals, or a like industry, as is experience leading and developing teams to success.
