Argentus is working with a brand new client in the 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) space on a great Logistics Sales role. This client is a fast-growing 3PL specialized in FTL and LTL shipments, with a strong working culture and a wide base of carriers. Today, they’re looking for a National Account Manager!
Working out of the company’s office in East York, ON, this National Account Manager will take on front line sales and business development duties for the company’s 3PL services, with the goal of driving new business and expanding enterprise accounts for the organization. In this individual contributor role, the successful candidate will identify opportunities for business development by contacting key decision-makers at potential clients across North America, and then execute on those opportunities through client outreach, managing multiple touchpoints with the goal of onboarding new logistics business. Working within the company’s CRM and sales tools, you will track all prospects through the sales pipeline, identifying high-potential leads and building relationships with decision-makers through phone conversations, site visits and other prospecting touchpoints, and grow the portfolio with the backing of the team’s strong carrier network and excellent customer service.
In short, this is an excellent growth opportunity for an emerging 3PL sales pro. Our client is looking for individuals with 1-4 years of experience in Logistics sales within a 3PL environment, ideally at a non-asset-based organization. Successful candidates must have a demonstrated track record of full-lifecycle sales success, and an ability to onboard new accounts through successful prospecting and business development. Candidates must also have experience with the marketplace, and service offerings, within FTL and LTL shipping. Experience with CRM systems is also a must for this role.
