Today, they’re looking for a Logistics & Customs Coordinator!
Working out of the company’s North GTA office, this individual will manage key front line duties for both logistics and customs as part of the company’s supply chain. On the logistics side, this individual will manage inbound and outbound freight transportation with the goal of securing shipments on time and within budget. You will work to select freight transportation carriers for TL, LTL, Ocean and Intermodal shipments, negotiate with carriers on cost, and schedule shipments and deliveries, both for inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods. You will identify and resolve issues related to shipments, assist with transit tracking, and provide rapid response to delays or incidents. This role involves interfacing with a variety of key supply chain stakeholders, and you’ll be working closely with production, quality, shipping/receiving and accounting to ensure that deliveries arrive smoothly. On the customs side, you will work with the company’s customs broker to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met, and assist with the completion of customs paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments.
In short, this is an excellent front-line logistics role, with exposure to leadership in the company and an opportunity to broaden your experience across many supply chain disciplines.
