Argentus is working with a brand new client, a renowned automotive manufacturer with a wonderful history, strong growth and a global presence. They have tasked Argentus with a number of searches for their supply chain group—in this case an ERP & MES Analyst!
This individual will work out of the company’s facility in North GTA (exact location confidential for now), and act as a key contributor in the implementation of their new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, as well as Manufacturing Execution System (MES) used to track the materials and production lines in the plant. In this role, the successful candidate will work with key contributors across the plant to develop a detailed understanding of system requirements, define the scope of requirements for the systems, and make recommendations for the implementation of the systems, working to ensure that both systems are smoothly integrated into the ongoing manufacturing operation. Working with the IT systems providers, you will make recommendations for customization to meet the unique needs of the business, and help ensure that the system is smoothly onboarded. You will use project management skills to track the project timeline, budget status and document any issues as they arise. Following the system implementation, you will act as a key support person for the system, managing user accounts, driving system adoption, and addressing technical concerns and enacting follow-up configuration with the IT systems provider.
In short, this is a great systems-focused supply chain role for a candidate with at least 3 years of experience with ERP and MES systems in a manufacturing environment. Experience participating in a successful ERP and/or MES implementation is a must, as are very strong project management and technical skills.
