This company is a renowned 3PL provider who has posted strong growth, with an emphasis on developing and deploying next-generation technologies and innovations set to transform the world of logistics for their clients across a variety of sectors. Today, they’ve tapped Argentus to hire a 3PL Product Strategy & Development Manager!
This individual will work out of the company’s office in Dorval, QC, and play an integral role in the management team for the company from the perspective of product strategy, product management and product development as they seek to develop their suite of innovative 3PL services. In this role, the successful candidate will utilize their deep knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, operations, transportation and warehousing within the North American market to take ownership of the end-to-end product development lifecycle for the company’s 3rd party logistics offerings. You will work closely with leadership in the business to build and execute a product roadmap for various logistics services, including parcels, LTL, warehousing, last-mile delivery, ocean delivery, and freight. You will use your understanding of emerging market trends and technology (including AI and other platforms) to deeply understand customers’ logistics pain points, identify insights about competitive improvements, and provide recommendations to develop the company’s service offerings as a 3rd party logistics provider of the future. You will monitor logistics KPIs for customers including customer satisfaction, cost reduction, warehouse efficiency, and delivery performance, applying your data analytics skills to improve service, and ensure that the company’s logistics services comply with warehousing and transportation regulations. In addition, you will act as a key subject matter expert within the organization for trends in eCommerce, automation and sustainability within the logistics industry.
In short, this is an excellent leadership role for an accomplished logistics leader with a very strong understanding of the North American logistics space, including multi-modal transportation, warehousing, operations, and 3rd party logistics best practices. The successful candidate also needs to be very knowledgeable about emerging logistics technologies, with a passion to implement automation, AI and other technology-based improvements to provide best-in-class logistics service. At least 3+ years of product management experience within the 3PL industry is a must for this role, as are excellent technical skills and an entrepreneurial, sales-focused mindset. French/English bilingualism is a significant asset.
