Argentus is working with a new eCommerce client in Vancouver on a great Logistics role. This company has built a strong eCommerce platform, connecting a variety of global sellers with customers within their category, leading to rapid growth and opportunity for employees. Today, they’re looking to bring on a Team Lead for Outbound Logistics!
This individual will work out of the company’s Vancouver, B.C. facility (hybrid remote / in office) to manage the smooth order floor for Outbound Logistics. This involves developing continuous improvement programs for operations, working with a variety of teams locally and globally to implement those improvements, and also managing training and mentorship for new hires within the Outbound Logistics team. You will wear a variety of hats in the organization, acting as a subject matter expert for Outbound Logistics for teams in the organization when it comes to outbound deliveries, while also working with freight carriers and other 3rd party organizations to help develop pilot projects for new avenues of delivery. This is a junior leadership role, but it’s also hands-on: you will make quotes, track and process orders in the company’s ERP system, and coordinate the overall movement of product, working closely with suppliers and warehousing partners to ship goods to customers on time, and work with the logistics team to manage inbound Ocean freight traffic.
This role is ideal for an individual with at least 3 years of Logistics experience, as well as experience with ERP systems, looking to eventually move into a manager role.
