Today we’re thrilled to be working with another new client, this time in the manufacturing industry, on a sole contributor supply chain role. This organization is a premier manufacturer for their product category, with a suite of differentiated products and a diverse team pursuing manufacturing and supply chain excellence. Today, they’re looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst to work within their Syspro ERP system. 

Working out of the company’s Mississauga, ON location (on site), this Supply Chain Data Analyst will take on analytics and dashboarding duties across a variety of manufacturing and supply chain functions, all with the goal of improving quality, efficiency and customer service. Working within the company’s Syspro ERP system and other databases, the successful candidate will use sophisticated data analysis techniques—including SQL queries, Crystal Reports, Visual Basic and other scripting—to provide a better picture of supply chain data for the company’s internal stakeholders. In this role, you will use your strong knowledge of supply chain fundamentals—including MRP, inventory control, TMS, and WMS—combined with excellent data analytics to draw insights about manufacturing and supply chain performance. Strong communications skills are a must, as you’ll be working to them to senior leadership in the business, by building dashboards and presenting findings to supply chain leaders. You will also provide value by identifying opportunities for system and process enhancements to increased the overall competitiveness of the company’s manufacturing and supply chain operation.

This role is a great opportunity for someone with several years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing industry, looking to make their mark with an analytical role with exposure to leadership in a growing business. Experience with Syspro ERP is a requirement, as is exposure to other ERP systems, as well as the aforementioned data analytics skills. The ability to run SQL queries, use Crystal Reports, and create dashboards is a must, as are excellent communications skills to present findings to diverse teams in the business.
