Working on a hybrid basis at the organization’s office in the GTA, and reporting to the Procurement Manager, this Senior Procurement Specialist will take on end-to-end sourcing and supplier relationship management for a variety of indirect goods & services categories, with an emphasis on Information Technology. This role will support the procurement team in independently leading the full lifecycle for procurement projects, including gathering an understanding of stakeholders’ needs, developing RFx and sourcing documents and methodology, evaluating supplier responses, negotiation and contracting—all with the goal of delivering cost savings and innovation to the company through the procurement process. In addition, you will support the procurement function through data analysis of the company’s spend, using tools like PowerBi and Tableau to develop visualizations and communicate them to leadership in the business. You will create supplier databases, monitor supplier KPIs and work within the existing supplier database to identify gaps and process improvements to help drive value in the procurement process.
This role is an excellent fit for someone with full-lifecycle procurement experience, with very strong communications and data analysis skills and the ability to communicate those insights effectively to leadership and stakeholders. Our client is looking for individuals with strong procurement experience in a services–related organization (as opposed to manufacturing), with a proven ability to lead independent procurement projects.
