This organization manages financial services for some of the top companies and brands in Canada, with a strong collaborative working culture. Today, they’re looking for a Senior Procurement Manager!
Working on a Hybrid basis to support the organization’s office in Mississauga, ON, this Senior Procurement Manager will take on strategic sourcing leadership duties within the categories of Information Technology and Capital Equipment. In this role, you will lead a small team to develop and execute large-volume, high-spend-value strategic Procurement products for a variety of information technologies and services, as well as capital equipment to support the company’s service. Using exceptional stakeholder management skills, you will work to gain a detailed understanding of functional stakeholder requirements, then work to go to market, leveraging best-in-class procurement processes and technologies to deliver end-to-end sourcing that reduces costs, drives value, and provides innovation to the organization — everything from strategy development, to RF(x) management, supplier negotiation, onboarding, and supplier performance management. You will use vendor management and supplier relationship management skills to develop close and continuing alignment with the company’s vendors for these categories, using vendor KPIs and scorecards to evaluate supplier performance and add value at every step of the process.
This is an excellent strategic leadership role for an individual with at least 7 years of Strategic Procurement experience on the indirect side, with particular category experience in Information Technology and / or Capital Equipment at a major services organization. Our client is looking for individuals with exceptional relationship building, stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills, as well as someone who has successfully managed a team to strategic Procurement success.
