Argentus is thrilled to be working with another new client in the Food industry on a set of impactful manufacturing roles. This growing organization has a great history in the industry, and is in the midst of a major digital transformation that will align and future-proof their manufacturing operations. As part of this transformation, they’ve tapped Argentus to help them find a QA Documentation Specialist!
Working out of the company’s facility in the York Region, ON, this individual will work to manage and improve documentation from the perspective of regulatory requirements and quality assurance (QA). In this role, you’ll work to support QA technicians in daily QA receiving inspections and certificates of analysis, creating a supplier complaint and informing leadership in the business should any issues arise. You will handle a variety of communications with customers, including daily requests for QA documentation, creating and sending certificates of analysis, updates on product certification renewals, and updated product specifications. You will work to develop new product specifications, as well as label declarations, requesting any information as required from suppliers and lab analysts, and updating QA documentation to match. You will manage product information in the company’s portal for major retail customers, and manage and maintain the overall documentation management system. In general, you will work to maintain excellent QA documentation across the company’s product lines—with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolve QA issues with customers and provide value for the manufacturing operation.
In short, this is an excellent role for an individual with a few years of Quality Assurance experience within the Food, Consumer Goods, or Pharmaceutical industries. The successful candidate needs to have exceptional attention to detail, and a strong understanding of how to meet regulatory environments through excellent documentation. Strong communication skills are a must, as you’ll be working closely with the company’s customers and suppliers—and a BRC certificate is a major asset.
