Argentus is working with another new client as we continue to expand our presence in British Columbia. This company is a growing automotive provider servicing B2B and B2C clients. Today they’re looking for a skilled Purchasing and Inventory Specialist!
Working out of the company’s facility in the Lower Mainland, B.C., the Purchasing and Inventory Specialist will support the Supply Chain Manager in managing the company’s Procurement, Inventory Management, and Vendor Management functions. You will work to process customer orders, while also placing new purchase orders with vendors, monitoring freight and brokerage shipments and their documentation, and working to resolve any issues as they arise. You will also assist in maintaining the company’s inventory to optimal stock levels, ensuring quick stock turnover and making sure that tracking of inventory is up to date and accurate. In short, this is a great sole contributor-level Supply Chain role, with strong exposure to the purchasing, inventory and freight functions at a fast-growing organization.
Our client is looking for an individual with at least 2 years of experience in Procurement and Inventory Management — someone with a high attention to detail, comfortable in a startup / fast-moving environment and skilled with placing purchase orders and monitoring inventory levels. A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline is a strong asset, as is a background in automotive, heavy equipment, or similar industries. If this sounds like you or someone in your network, reach out to Argentus today! Call 416 364 9919 or send an email with your current resume to recruit@argentus.com.
