Argentus is working with another new client with a number of supply chain roles! This organization is a great manufacturing company, and a leader in their category in the Automotive industry—a major growth area for Argentus. Today, they’re looking for a Pre-Production Planner!
Working out of the company’s Vaughan, ON facility (on a Hybrid basis as the COVID-19 situation allows), this Pre-Production Planner will form a crucial part of the functional production planning process, working to coordinate engineering change orders prior to production. As a key contributor to new product introductions, you will use detailed run-out schedules to coordinate these change orders with the goal of avoiding obsolescence all along the production chain. You will work to procure serial production volumes, maintain the master production schedule for new assemblies, and update the ERP planning system and inventory parameters, all with the goal of eliminating outage and improving on-time deliveries.
Our client is looking for individuals with at least 2 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment (Tier 1 automotive is a significant asset but not a requirement). Experience with Inventory control, materials resource planning, and/or MPS/shop floor scheduling experience is a must, as are strong excel and data management skills. If this sounds like you, and you’re looking to move into a new role, reach out to Argentus today! Call 416 364 9919 or send an email with your current resume to recruit@argentus.com.
