This growing organization is looking for a Planning & Performance Manager with a continuous improvement mindset to help lead their operations group into the future.
Working out of the company’s facility in Mississauga, ON, this Planning & Performance Manager will lead a small team in managing key supply chain accountabilities and KPIs for supply planning, production planning, inventory control, and S&OP. In this role, you will have oversight for supply chain budgetary processes, working with key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve, and report on, supply chain performance. Working within 4000 finished goods SKUs and 900 raw materials SKUs, you will help lead supply planning strategy, define key inventory policies, and then execute those policies to improve cycle count accuracy, reduce inventory obsolescence. As a key leader within the S&OP process, you will lead the S&OP cycle in concert with other departments. This role also has a strong project management and continuous improvement component, as you’ll be tasked with developing and implementing a variety of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce supply chain costs, streamline processes, and find innovation towards continued excellence in the company’s operations.
Our client is looking for candidates with at least 6 years of supply chain experience, as well as 3 years of people management experience, within consumer goods, food production, pharmaceutical or cosmetics. Strong experience with the above-outlined supply chain disciplines (supply planning, production planning, inventory control, and S&OP) is also a must for this role, as is a deep understanding of ERP systems, analytics, and continuous improvement.
