Argentus is working with another new client with a number of supply chain roles! This organization is a great automotive company, and a leader in their category in the Automotive industry—a major growth area for Argentus. Today, they’re looking for a Materials Analyst!
Working out of the company’s Vaughan, ON facility (on a Hybrid basis as the COVID-19 situation allows), this Materials Analyst will effectively manage the Master Plan for the assigned categories at the Finished Goods level. This individual will work to establish strong, proactive relationships with suppliers, with the goal of meeting on-time delivery targets, as well as optimizing quality and inventory control levels. At the component level, in this role you will work to drive Engineering change management, and work to eliminate outages, and drive success in delivering on-time delivery initiatives. In addition, the successful candidate for this role will work to coordinate the process for necessary vendor returns with the supplier, logistics department, and quality department. Broadly, you will work within the Materials Resource Plan to optimize inventory parameters to provide exceptional fulfilment to the company’s customers, while also providing efficiency in the company’s inventory holdings.
Our client is looking for individuals with at least 2 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment (Tier 1 automotive is a significant asset but not a requirement). Experience with Inventory control, Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), as well as strong excel and data management skills are a must for this role. Our client is looking for someone with a continuous improvement mindset, who understands lean methodologies and root cause analysis.
