As part of their ongoing modernization efforts, they’re seeking to implement new ERP and WMS systems, and as part of this transformation are seeking a Logistics & Warehousing Manager!
Working out of the company’s facility in the North GTA, this Logistics & Warehousing Manager will take on leadership and oversight duties for a number of key supply chain functions including warehousing, logistics and customer service for the company’s 10,000 SKUs. In this role, you will lead the team in delivering an exceptional level of customer service and operational excellence in fulfilment of the company’s orders. You will manage the company’s logistics and warehousing teams, working to optimize costs, building operations, as well as the operating budget, and work with external delivery partners and carriers to find opportunities for innovation. In addition, as mentioned above, you will work to implement a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, as well as a new Warehouse Management System (WMS). By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer service, you will work to generate value all along the logistics and warehousing function, and to establish these functions as a centre of excellence in the organization as it pursues its long term goals.
Our client is looking for a motivated, hands-on leader who is positioned to grow their career. The successful candidate needs to have a proven track record of success at leading warehousing, logistics and customer service for a large facility in the food, consumer packaged goods and/or pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate also must have experience managing ERP implementations and/or WMS implementations, as well as a proven ability to lead large teams and drive change and continuous improvement.
