Argentus is working with another new client with a number of supply chain roles! This organization is a growing manufacturing company, and a leader in their category in the Automotive industry—a major growth area for Argentus. Today, they’re looking for an Inventory Control Supervisor!
Working out of the company’s Vaughan, ON facility (on a Hybrid basis as the COVID-19 situation allows), this Inventory Control Supervisor will provide overall direction and support to the facility’s inventory control team with the goal of achieving high customer satisfaction and departmental objectives. Working within the company’s ERP system, in this role you will work to ensure that finished goods and raw materials align with inventory level targets. You will work proactively to surface any inventory issues before they arise, and begin corrective actions to avoid any bottlenecks. This role is a key clearing house for important inventory data, as you’ll work to identify changes in customer demand and respond appropriately to shore up the inventory position, eliminate outages, work closely with stakeholders including suppliers, and manage the schedule to achieve on time delivery and support the overall efficiency of the operation. In short, it’s a great, progressive inventory control role with an excellent organization.
Our client is looking for individuals with 3-5 years of Inventory Control experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in Materials Management at an automotive company (automotive experience is an asset but not strictly required). Preferably, you’ll also have experience helping to implement continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment, utilizing lean and root cause analysis.
