Argentus is working with another brand new client on an impactful supply chain leadership role! This company is a major provider in the aviation industry, with a proud history in their vertical, a strong mission-oriented culture, and outstanding working group. Today, they’re looking for a Director of Supply Chain!
Working on-site at the company’s location in Abbotsford, BC (with occasional travel), this Director of Supply Chain will take on overall leadership duties for the entire supply chain function—and end-to-end role that includes strategy development and execution within procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory management, materials planning, logistics, as well as facilities maintenance and extension. Leading a significant team, this Director will design, manage and continuously improve all aspects of the overall supply chain, continuing to build it into a source of value and strategic advantage within the company. In this role, you will use a mix of hands-on functional and strategic experience to set an overall supply chain vision, and execute that vision through sourcing, network design, and rationalisation, working to identify cost savings and to build a resilient, agile and flexible supply chain network. You will determine material availability and overall material flow, optimizing supplier bases, and providing insight and transparency into the supply chain to senior leadership in the business—while breaking down siloes and bringing the supply chain into closer integration with the overall strategic direction of the company. In addition, you will plan and manage the budget for the supply chain department, while also acting as a leader from the perspective of talent hiring, coaching, development and performance.
Please note: our client is willing to offer relocation assistance to the right candidate within Canada.
