Argentus is working with one of our top recent clients in the Food industry on a set of impactful manufacturing roles. This organization has a great history in the industry, and boasts a number of successful in-house brands in their food category. They’re in the midst of a major digital transformation that will align and future-proof their manufacturing operations, and as part of this transformation, they’ve tapped Argentus to help them find a Director of Operations!
Working to support the company’s facility in the York Region, ON, this Director of Operations will take on a leadership role for a host of manufacturing and supply chain functions. Leading teams in plant operations, production planning, warehouse management, supply & demand planning, logistics and quality assurance, this individual will form a strategic vision for the facility, and roll up their sleeves to execute that vision through strong people management and motivation. In this role, you will take on functional oversight for the plant, with a mandate to improve efficiency, elevate performance, and use technology to transform the facility into the factory of the future. As mentioned above, the company is going through a digital transformation, and you’ll be working to use these new digital tools to drive the operation’s modernization and conduct continuous improvement projects. In addition, you will have oversight over facilities management, as well as Capital Expenditure (CapEx) improvement for the plant. In short, this is a great senior leadership role in manufacturing—a chance to make your mark by applying a strategic vision, and leading a team to get there.
